Sultana Elementary School - Ontario, CA
Since fall of 2014, ACT has been working with the 5th grade at Sultana Elementary School to educate students about environmental issues, with an emphasis on environmental science.

 

Oakmont Elementary School- Claremont, CA
ACT has worked with 4th through 6th graders from Oakmont Elementary School since the spring of 2014. Using the Oakmont 'biomes' as a platform for learning, ACT members have been able to engage Oakmont students with a relatable, holistic, and interdisciplinary understanding of environmentalism.

 

Community Engagement Program- Pitzer College, Claremont, CA

The Community Engagement Program was created in the fall of 2014 to make environmental education accessible to the greater community of Claremont and surrounding areas. The Community Engagement Program hosts a number of events throughout the year that aim to engage youth in environmental science, conservation practices, and stewardship.
